Evelyn M. (Andrews) Campbell Smith, 91, of Attleboro, MA passed away on Wednesday, August 10, 2022, at the Life Care Center of Attleboro where she had resided for the past three years. She was the wife of the late Donald James Smith who died on November 7, 2013 and was the former wife of the late Frank Campbell.
Born in North Attleboro, MA on March 30, 1931, she was a daughter of the late James Andrews and the late Lucy (Richardson) Andrews Swanson.
She resided in the City of Attleboro for more than 60 years and previously resided in both Norton and North Attleboro.
Evelyn worked most of her life in local jewelry companies including J & L Tool and Marissa Barrows.
She had been a member of the Ladies of the Attleboro Moose Lodge for many years and had also volunteered at the Attleboro Council on Aging.
Evelyn and Donald enjoyed many memorable cruises with friends and family and in retirement they enjoyed traveling extensively throughout the country in numerous RV campers.
Her surviving family includes her two sons: Ronald Campbell and his wife, Claire, of Norton, MA; and John Campbell and his wife, Barbara, of Attleboro, MA; her daughter-in-law: Millicent Campbell of North Attleboro, MA; her grandchildren: Timothy Campbell and his wife, Jennifer; Kristy Lacaillade and her husband, Eric; Stephanie Wade and her husband, Ronald; Michael Campbell and his wife, Megan; Mitchell Kennedy Smith; Kelcie Kennedy Smith; Albert St. Jean and his wife, Julie and Reanna McLaughlin and her husband, Chris; 13 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
She was predeceased by her sons: James Campbell and Robert Smith and his wife, Pamela Kennedy Smith. She was the sister of the late James Andrews and Donald Andrews.
Private services will be held in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro, MA.
Burial will be private in the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne, where she will be laid to rest next to her beloved husband, Donald.
The family gratefully acknowledges the staff at the Life Care Center of Attleboro and the HopeHealth Hospice for the comfort and care provided to Evelyn.
