Eunice G. (Cotton) Latimer, 80, of Longview Drive, North Attleboro, died on Saturday, April 12, 2014 at the Philip Hulitar Inpatient Hospice in Providence, Rhode Island. She was the beloved wife of Charles Latimer, Jr. to whom she was married on September 28, 1957. Born in Cumberland, Rhode Island on June 15, 1933, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Evelyn (Norton) Cotton. Mrs. Latimer was a resident of North Attleboro since 1966. She was active with the American Legion - Post 312 in South Attleboro and had served as past president of the Ladies Auxiliary. She was employed by Sadler Bros., Inc. in South Attleboro for 20 years prior to her retirement in 1993. Her favorite pastimes included solving puzzles and shopping but most treasured were the times spent creating lifelong memories with her family especially her cherished grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she leaves two children: Charles Latimer III and his wife, Suzanne (Stapleton) Latimer, of Mt. Holly, New Jersey and Cheryl L. Latimer-Linton of North Attleboro and her former spouse, Dennis M. Linton of Seekonk; five grandchildren: Matthew C., Sean M, and Kyle J. Latimer and Zachary W. Linton, Sr, and his wife, Christina (Trost) Linton and Samantha Lee Linton; a great grandson: Zachary W. Linton, Jr.; a sister: Ruth Hill of Seekonk and several nieces, nephews and many dear friends. She was the sister of the late Frank Cotton and Lena Haworth who died on April 7, 2014. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend a memorial visitation on WEDNESDAY, APRIL 16, 2014 from 5:00 - 7:45 PM in the "Memorial Chapel" of the DYER-LAKE FUNERAL HOME, 161 Commonwealth Avenue (exit 5 off I-95 N or S, go right at end of ramp, mile on left), Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro.
