Ethel May Vincent

April 21, 1942 — June 30, 2019

Ethel May (Vinson) Vincent, 77, of Wrentham, MA, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 30, 2019 at Norwood Hospital in Norwood, MA.  She was the beloved wife of the late Robert Walter Vincent Sr., to whom she was married on August 24, 1968 and who died on November 22, 2011.
Born on April 21, 1942 in Norwood, MA, she was the daughter of the late Leonard M. Vinson Sr. and the late Helen L. (Hurley) Vinson.
A resident of Wrentham for the past forty-eight years, she previously lived in Norfolk, MA, where she was raised and educated.   She worked many years ago as a Nurse's Aide at Maples Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Wrentham, before retiring.
A truly loving and caring woman who always put others first, Ethel devoted her life to caring for her family and her children, creating and providing a home full of love.   She especially cherished spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She held a special place in her heart for her dogs, and loved the simple things in life:  curling up in a soft cozy blanket; working in the yard; driving her convertible; Christmas lights; and the look of shiny jewelry that always seemed to catch her eye.
She was the loving mother of Debora Mullen of Wrentham, MA; Robin Bean of Conway, NH; James Mullen of Attleboro, MA; Dawn Barney of North Attleboro, MA; Michael Mullen of Wrentham, MA; Kimberly Vincent of Wrentham, MA, with whom she resided; and Robert "Butchy" Vincent Jr. of  Charlestown, RI.  She was the proud and adoring grandmother of twelve grandchildren and two great-grandchildren and the paternal grandmother of the late Skylee Mullen. Ethel was the dear sister Leonard "Butch" Vinson of Norfolk, MA; Jackie Stotts of Norfolk, MA; and the late George Vinson.
