Ethel Adrianna Simmons

Ethel Adrianna (Pimental) Simmons, 84, of North Attleboro, peacefully passed away on Thursday, March 3, 2016 at Madonna Manor Nursing Home in North Attleboro, MA. She was the beloved wife of the late Robert Francis Simmons who died in 1993.Born on March 5, 1931 in Lincoln, MA, she was the daughter of the late Fuljencio Pimental and Alice (Sousa) Pimental.A resident of North Attleboro for most of her life, Ethel worked for many years as a Domestic Engineer for L.G. Balfour Co. in Attleboro, MA. She was a member of Holy Ghost Church in Attleboro, MA. She loved music and loved to dance, but most of all, Ethel loved her dear family.She is survived by her adoring children: Mark S. Simmons of North Attleboro, MA; Michael G. Simmons of North Attleboro, MA; and Debra Matteson of Cranston, RI. She leaves seven cherished grandchildren; thirteen treasured great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.Ethel was the mother of the late Mark S. Simmons who passed away when he was an infant.
