Esther Florence Moreau

Esther Florence (Larson) Moreau, 91, of Norton, MA, passed away peacefully at her home on Friday, April 27, 2018. She was the beloved wife of the late Raymond Francis Moreau, to whom she was married for fifty-nine years.Born on July 4, 1926 in Attleboro, MA, she was the daughter of the late Albert Nils and Hulda Elisabeth (Svenson) Larson. A resident of Norton most of her life, Esther was a graduate of Norton High School, Class of 1944. More than anything in her life, she cherished her career as a mother and homemaker to her family. She attended Faith Alliance Church in Attleboro, was an avid reader and ardent fan of the Boston Red Sox, and loved watching Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy. Esther was the loving mother of Steven R. Moreau and his wife, Rebecca Ingram Moreau, of Toccoa, GA; Sharon L. Faxon and her husband, Albert C. Faxon, of Norton, MA; and Jaynee R. Walker and her husband, Stan D. Walker, of Dakar, Senegal, West Africa. She was the adoring grandmother of Caleb R. Walker, Elizabeth S. Faxon, Sarah H. Lanzing, Debra J. Gomes, Daniel A.N. Moreau, Leah E. Smith, Hannah R. Person, and Christopher M. Coppenbarger; and the proud great-grandmother of fifteen great-grandchildren, with another great-grandchild on the way. Esther was predeceased by her siblings: Elizabeth C. Larsen, Paul E. Larson, Ruth E. Norlund, Miriam P. Bowser, and David N. Larson.
