Eric James Berry, 25, of North Attleboro, passed away on Tuesday, May 8, 2018 at Rhode Island Hospital in Providence, RI.Born in Attleboro, MA on July 11, 1992, he was the beloved son of Kyra Elaina Knox of North Attleboro, MA and Roger Leonard Avery of Attleboro, MA.A resident of North Attleboro and Attleboro his entire life, Eric was a graduate of Attleboro High School, Class of 2014.A generous and outgoing man who loved people and animals of most every kind, he was known for his unwavering loyalty to family and friends. He would most often be found with his cell phone in hand. Eric was an ardent fan of the New England Patriots and the Boston Celtics, and loved WWE Wrestling. He had a special place in his heart for his cherished dog, "Winnie", and cats, "Grey" and "Turtle". Perhaps Eric's greatest gift and act of generosity was the gift of life through the donation of his kidneys to two recipients in need: a sixty year old local woman and a sixty year old man residing out of state. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his loving siblings: Samantha J. Knox of North Attleboro, MA, and Frances "Frankie" Correia of RI. He is survived by his maternal grandparents, Cynthia A. Berry and her husband, James A. Berry Sr., of Wrentham, MA; and his paternal grandmother, Anna May Horne of Springfield, MA. He was the grandson of the late James Avery. Eric was the step-son of the late William Knox. He also leaves numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and many dear friends.A Memorial Service will be held at a later date and time to be announced.
