Eric Alix

Eric James Alix, 31, of North Attleboro, MA, passed away on Sunday, January 15, 2017 in Attleboro, MA. He was the beloved son of Albert J. Alix and Virginia A. (Bliss) Alix of North Attleboro, MA.Eric was born on July 3, 1985 in Attleboro, MA, and lived most of his life in North Attleboro. He was a graduate of North Attleboro High School, and was employed as an Electrician at S. Donnelly Electric, Inc. in Lakeville, MA.Eric was a member of Waters Church in North Attleboro. He enjoyed spending time with his children and family, bike riding, hiking, camping and fishing. He also enjoyed working out at the gym, working on cars with his friends and watching the Patriots.In addition to his parents, he is survived by his cherished daughters: Alania N. Alix, age five; and Selah J. Alix, age sixteen months; both of North Attleboro, MA. He leaves his two loving sisters: Bethany L. (Alix) Spratley and her husband, Gino Spratley, of Fort Mill, SC; and Anna Leigh Alix and her companion, Andrew McCrary, of Charlotte, NC. Eric leaves several aunts and uncles, cousins and many dear friends, all of whom will sorely miss him.He was the former husband of Nicole Alix of Attleboro, MA.Friends and family are cordially invited to attend a Visitation on Saturday, January 21, 2017 from 4:00 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home - the national historic Colonel Obed Robinson Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro, MA.Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Service immediately following visitation on Saturday, January 21, 2017 at 6:30 p.m. in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro, MA.Children's room is available during the visitation and funeral service.Those in need of a local ride to the visitation may call the funeral home at (508) 695-0200 to make a reservation for such complimentary transportation.
