Emilia Cormier

Emilia Claire (Michaud) Cormier, 73, of North Smithfield, RI, passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday, November 28, 2018. She was the beloved wife of the late William Cormier.Born on November 19, 1945 in Woonsocket, RI, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Oria (Lessard) Michaud.A resident of North Smithfield since 2004, Emilia previously lived in Woonsocket, where she was a member of Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Church.Emilia worked for many years as a Waitress and as a Presser for One Stop Cleaners in Woonsocket before retiring. A kind and caring woman of faith and devotion, she enjoyed the simple things in life, such as watching television, especially the old Perry Mason Show. Emilia was the sister of Suzanne Gallagher of Mattapoisett, MA; the late Albert Charles Michaud and his wife, Paulette R. (Plouffe) Michaud of North Smithfield, RI; and the late Anne Murray.
