Elsie Disano

Elsie (Rich) Disano, 94, of Bristol, RI, peacefully passed away on Friday, March 3, 2017 at Warren Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation in Warren, RI. She was the beloved wife of the late Anthony Disano to whom she was married on June 24, 1944 and who died on December 12, 1986.Born on September 3, 1922 in Bristol, RI, she was the daughter of the late Michael Rich and the late Virginia (Confalone) Rich.A longtime resident of Bristol, Elsie previously lived in Barrington, RI. She was the proud and caring owner of Elsie's Bakery in Bristol for many years before retiring, and was a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church there. Elsie is survived by her dear son, Peter G. Disano of Ormond Beach, FL, and had four sisters and one brother. Family and friends are cordially invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday, March 22, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Angels Church, 341 Maple Avenue, Barrington, RI, followed by a Graveside Service in Santa Maria Del Campo Cemetery, Upland Way, Barrington, RI.
