Elizabeth Ann Darling, 80, of West Warwick, RI passed away peacefully on September 17, 2021 at her residence.
Born in Providence, RI on September 29, 1940, she was a daughter of the late William Darling and the late Madeline (McCarthy) Darling.
Ms. Darling was a 1958 graduate of St. Patrick's High School and earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from the former Roger Williams College in 1974.
She was employed as a teacher's aide for the City of Providence School Department for 33years prior to her retirement in 2003.
Her favorite pastimes including trying her luck on scratch tickets, playing bingo, reading, and traveling.
Elizabeth was a resident of West Warwick for more than 20 years having moved to the community from Scituate, RI.
She was the mother of Dyan M. Turner in North Carolina; Daniel J. Bibby of Smithfield, RI and David J. Bibby of North Providence, RI.  She was the grandmother of several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Elizabeth was the sister of Elaine Abbott of Endwell, New York; Judi Jones of Coventry, RI; Robert Darling of West Warwick, RI and Walter Darling of Riverside, RI and the late Joan McKenna and the late William Darling.
All services for Elizabeth are private.
In lieu of flowers and in honor of Elizabeth's love for animals, memorial donations may be made to any local animal shelter.
