Elizabeth "Liz" Anne Dolley, 37, of North Attleboro, MA, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 5, 2019 at her home.
Liz leaves her beloved father, Robert J. Dolley, and his wife, Katherine Ann (Snay) Dolley of North Attleboro, and was the loving daughter of the late Deborah Mae (Petrie) Lieberman.
Born on May 6, 1981 in Attleboro, Liz was a lifelong resident of North Attleboro. She was a graduate of New Testament Christian Academy and received her Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Development from Fisher College. She was a longtime member of Central Congregational Church in Attleboro Falls.
Liz was a Sales Associate at Fashion Bug and at Target who loved children and being with people. She worked as a nanny and at Jolly Farm Day Care in North Attleboro. She also worked at the North Attleboro Hockomock YMCA as a preschool teacher, at the front desk, and as a part of the Child Watch program there.
A warm, outgoing, vibrant and vivacious woman, she loved so many things in life: listening to, and writing music; playing the guitar; singing; all sports, and having played basketball on her high school team; telling jokes; being a part of the 4H club when she was younger; animals of every kind, especially her cherished dog, "Piper", and her three kitties: "Luna", "Misty", and "Bella"; and simply being with her beloved family and many good friends.
In addition to her father and step-mother, Liz leaves her loving aunts and uncles: Judith L. Holland of Attleboro, MA, and her late husband, William Holland Jr; Andrew F. Petrie and his wife, Anne M. (McSheehy) Petrie, of North Carolina, who were her Godparents; Donald H. Petrie and his wife, Carol (Houghton) Petrie, of New Port Richey, FL; and Kathleen H. Harrop and her husband, Laurin "Skip" E. Harrop Jr., of Attleboro, MA. Liz leaves her dear friend, Diane A. Morra of Greenville, RI, who was truly like a sister to her; as well as ten cousins and their spouses; nine and one-half second cousins; her extended family, and many cherished friends.
Friends and relatives are cordially invited to honor and remember Liz by gathering for a Visitation on Saturday, January 19, 2019 from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 Noon in the Memorial Chapel of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro, MA, immediately followed by a Funeral and Celebration of Life Service at 12:00 Noon at Dyer-Lake Funeral Home. Please wear something purple or hot pink in recognition of Liz's love of those colors.
Graveside Services will follow in Paine Cemetery, North Attleboro, MA.
