Elena McCann, 59, of Providence, Rhode Island, passed away on September 5, 2025, at Roger Williams Medical Center in Providence, Rhode Island.
Born in Brooklyn, New York on December 11, 1965, she was a daughter of the late Humberto Gonzalez and the late Mosarte Aponte.
She graduated college with a degree in social work and was employed as a social worker for many years.
Elena was the loving mother of: Robert L. McCann, Jr. of Maryland; Saset Carmen McCann of Providence, RI; Brittany Morgan McCann of North Kingstown, RI and the late Theresa Marie Boyce. She was the cherished grandmother of 7 grandchildren. She was the sister of Nelson Gonzalez, Carlos Aponte, and the late Debra Aponte. She was predeceased by her loving partner, Kelly G. Bell, with whom she shared more than 20 years.
Funeral services will be private.
