Eleanor I. Landsberg

Eleanor I. (Shepherd) Landsberg,102, of Brewster, MA, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 4, 2020 at the Pleasant Bay Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Brewster.  She was the beloved wife of the late Kurt J. Landsberg, whom she married on August 12, 1939 in Forty Fort, Pennsylvania and who died in 2000.
Born on October 1, 1917 in Forty Fort, PA, she was the daughter of the late William Shepherd and the late Katherine (Moeller) Shepherd.
Eleanor worked for many years as Registered Nurse before retiring. She was a resident of Wellfleet and Brewster for the past forty years, having previously lived in Rochester, Michigan, and was a longtime member of the First Lutheran Church in Barnstable, MA.
She was the loving mother of Kurt W. Landsberg of Hilton Head, SC.  Eleanor was the dearest grandmother of Edgar Francis, Raquel Ellis, Kurt J. Landsberg and Michael Landsberg, and the great-grandmother of Ben Ellis, Gavin Ellis, Julianne Landsberg, Keegan Landsberg, and Ryder Landsberg. She was predeceased by her brother and sisters and leaves her extended family.
Visitation has respectfully been omitted.
A Private Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
As an expression of sympathy or in lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Eleanor to the First Lutheran Church,1663 Main St, West Barnstable, MA 02668.
