GREENE, Eleanor (Chamberlain) On December 18, 2010 at the age of 92. Wife of the late John Joseph Greene. Mother of Thomas V. Greene of Seekonk; Stephen C. Greene of Webster; John B. Greene of Tempe, Arizona; Gregory N. Greene of Wrentham; Catherine E. Greene of Foxboro and the late Myra P. Barq. Grandmother of 14 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. She also leaves several nieces and nephews and extended family members and friends. Sister of the late Charlotte Heimbecker and Phyllis Walsh. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend visitation and a display of her artwork on Wednesday, December 22, 2010 from 5:00 - 8:00 PM in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home - the national historic Colonel Obed Robinson Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue (exit 5 off I-95 N or S, go right, mile on the left), Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday, December 23, 2010 at 10:00 AM at St. Martha Roman Catholic Church, 227 South Street, Plainville. There will be no funeral cortege from the funeral home prior to the funeral Mass. Following church services an invitation will be extended to join the family for a time of continued fellowship and refreshments at a location to be announced. Private burial will be in the Spring in Shepardville Cemetery, Plainville. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Mrs. Greene's name may be made to the Dyer-Lake Charitable Foundation, Inc., a registered 501 (c) 3 organization, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, North Attleboro, MA 02760 to benefit the Pine Street Inn in Boston.
