Eleanor Mary Green

Eleanor Mary Green, 88, of Norton, MA, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro, MA. Born on June 15, 1929 in Pownal, VT, she was the daughter of the late Carl M. Green and the late Catherine (Murphy) Green.A selfless, caring, and generous woman, she worked for many years as a Factory Worker and Home Health Aide. Often found lending a helping hand to others, Eleanor volunteered her time and efforts at the St. Vincent de Paul Food Pantry in Taunton, MA for more than seventeen years. She always enjoyed the simple things in life, especially playing Bingo. Eleanor is survived by her beloved daughter, Eleanor Reynolds and her husband, Warren D. Reynolds, of Taunton, MA. She was the sister of Patricia Falke of Norton, MA, and Elizabeth Smith of RI, and was predeceased by her siblings: Richard Green, Cecilia Nepini, Bernard Green, and Carl Green. Eleanor was the adoring grandmother of Victoria M. Drillock and her husband, Andrew Drillock, of Medfield, MA; and great-grandmother of Preston Drillock and Alexander Drillock, and leaves many nieces and nephews.All services will be privately held.
