Elaine C. Chase, 72, of Plainville, MA, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 25, 2019, surrounded by her loving family and friends.
Born in North Attleboro, MA, she was the daughter of Clifford and Helena (Plante) Farrell. Elaine grew up in North Attleboro, but was a member of the Plainville community for over 40 years.
Elaine graduated from Community College of Rhode Island and Fisher College and was a Registered Nurse at Sturdy Memorial Hospital and the Massachusetts prison healthcare system for over 25 years. Prior to nursing, Elaine worked as a server at the Colstone Family Restaurant in North Attleboro, the Lafayette House in Foxboro, MA, and the Dickens Restaurant in Wrentham, MA.
Elaine loved spending time at her home in Plymouth, MA, and working on crafts, designing and making a number of Nantucket baskets. She was also a gifted seamstress and shared a love of New England sports teams with her family.
Elaine is survived by her partner of over 40 years, Arthur Snow of Plainville, MA; her son John Chase and his wife, Lynn, of Plymouth, MA; her daughter Jaime Chase and her husband, Brooks Martin, of Kensington, MD; her brother Raymond Farrell and his wife, Janice, of South Attleboro, MA; her best friend Lois Passanisi and her husband James, of Plainville, MA; and her beloved King Charles Spaniel, Ruby.
Friends and family are invited to honor and remember Elaine at a celebration of her life on Saturday, February 9, 2019 from 12:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Lafayette House, 109 Washington Street, Foxbororough, MA.
Elaine's family would like to thank all her friends, family and caregivers at The Branches of North Attleboro for all the support and care given to her along the way.
