Eileen F. Wilbur

Eileen F. Wilbur (Kearney), 88, of Attleboro, MA., passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving and devoted family on Saturday, October 7, 2023 at home. She was the beloved wife of the late Lawrence F. Wilbur Jr. Born on September 19, 1935, in Ballinamought, Ireland; she was the daughter of the late Frank and Helen (Sullivan) Kearney. Eileen was an Interior Designer for many years. She was the happiest when surrounded by her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was an avid gardener, painter and enjoyed writing poems.  She enjoyed listening to music and dancing and was a communicant of St. Theresa of the Child Jesus Church.  She is survived by her loving children, Ellen Chicoine and her husband Gerry of Freetown, MA., Roseleen Brederson and her husband John of Attleboro, MA., Sheila Roy and her husband Tom Jr., of Attleboro, MA., John Wilbur and his wife Lisa of Attleboro, MA., Maureen Peters and her husband Scott of North Attleboro, MA., Irene Smith and her fiancé Kevin Holland of Cumberland, RI and Deirdre Mullins and her husband Kevin of Attleboro, MA. She is also survived by her devoted sisters, Betty Downy of Bantry, Ireland and Sheila O'Driscoll of London; 19 cherished grandchildren and 28 dear great-grandchildren.
