Edward "Eddie" John Zonfrillo Jr., 51, of New Port Richey, FL and a native of North Attleboro, MA, died unexpectedly on Monday, June 28, 2021 at BayCare Health in New Port Richey.
Born in Providence, RI on April 2, 1970, he was a son of the late Edward J. Zonfrillo Sr. and the late Mary A. (Raymond) Zonfrillo.
He was raised and educated in North Attleboro and was a 1989 graduate of North Attleboro High School (NAHS) where he thrived as a member of the NAHS Drama Club and had many friends.  He achieved the rank of Eagle Scout in the Boy Scouts of America.
Ed was successful in many business ventures including real estate and executive recruiting. He attended Northeastern University in Boston, MA, and Eastern Nazarene College in Quincy, MA, having earned a bachelor's degree. He relocated to Florida several years ago after having spent the majority of his life in both the North Attleboro-Attleboro communities, and Boston area.
Ed's passion for life, zany sense of humor and endless energy brought joy to all those around him. He will be lovingly remembered for his witty charm, captivating smile, and contagious laughter. He loved to debate and talk politics, injecting humor and famous one-liners from previous Presidential candidates like Ronald Reagan and Walter Mondale. A lifelong animal lover, he enjoyed time spent with his cats "Kitty" and "Butterscotch," and will finally reunite with his beloved dogs "Pukka" and "Hannah".
He leaves his loving siblings Samuel J. Zonfrillo and his wife, Heaven (Hurst) Zonfrillo, of North Attleboro, MA; Priscilla M. Roach and her husband, Timothy Roach, of Cumberland, Rhode Island; and Cheryl Eastman of Hanson, MA. He was a cherished "member" of the Boehling family of North Attleboro, MA, particularly Thomas W. Boehling of Seattle, WA, with whom he maintained a lifelong friendship.  Eddie was the stepson of Brenda (Rafuse) Zonfrillo of Norwood, MA, and leaves many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
