Edward Lane Wade

Edward Lane Wade, 74, of Attleboro, MA passed away on January 3, 2021 at his residence following a period of declining health.
He was born in Talladega, Alabama on June 24, 1946, the son of the late Edward Wade and the late Margie (Pearl) Wade.  As a young boy, the family relocated to Massachusetts and he resided in Plainville before moving to the City of Attleboro 20 years ago.
Prior to his retirement in 2009, he was employed for more than 15 years as an employee of the maintenance department for the Courtyard Marriott in Foxboro, MA.  He was also the owner and operator of Ed's Landscaping Company for more than 20 years.
An ardent NASCAR fan, he particularly liked Jeff Gordon.  He also enjoyed freshwater fishing and playing golf in his earlier years.
He leaves two children: Thomas Lane Wade of Attleboro, MA and Ronald Lane Wade of Rehoboth, MA; four grandchildren; three sisters: Blender Sheryl Johnson with whom he resided in Attleboro, MA; Hilda Elaine Pedini of Attleboro, MA and Jenny Sue DeGrafft-Loftin of Attleboro, MA; several nieces and nephews including: Paul Edward Johnson of Attleboro, MA and Amanda Sue Johnson in New York and additional extended family.
Visitation has been respectfully omitted.
Funeral services and burial will be private.
