Edward "Ed" D. Pacitto

Edward "Ed" D. Pacitto, 51, of North Attleboro, MA, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, July 15, 2018, surrounded by his family. He was the treasured husband of Jeanne M. (Johnson) Pacitto, to whom he was married on July 15, 1994. Born on January 23, 1967, in Concord, MA, he was the son of Barbara L. (Vigliotti) White of Georgetown, ME, and Henry Pacitto of Floral City, FL. A graduate of Morse High School, Class of 1986, he received his Associate's Degree in Architecture from New England Technical Institute in 1987. Ed worked for 23 years as a Fire Protection Engineer for Cogswell Sprinkler Company, Inc. in Worcester, MA before retiring. A resident of North Attleboro for the past 25 years, he previously lived in Narragansett, RI, and Bath, ME.Ed was a race car enthusiast and driver and was a member of the Sports Car Club of America. Some of his favorite tracks, whether he was driving or watching, were New Hampshire International Speedway, Limerock Park, Watkins Glen, and Road Atlanta. He loved automobiles, especially MOPARs. He was a lifelong student of all things historical and military, and he had a great appreciation for trivial facts. Ed was a member of the Independent Sportsmen's Club in Foxboro, MA. An outgoing, sociable man, he would lend a hand to anyone in need and was a veritable jack-of-all-trades. Ed's family was the real center of his life, and he was always there for them. More than anything, he cherished being with his family and his precious children. In addition to his wife, Jeanne, he leaves his amazing children: his daughter, Anna E. Pacitto, and his sons: David J. Pacitto and Jason E. Pacitto, all of North Attleboro. He was the dear brother of Carey Pacitto of Boca Raton, FL; Elizabeth "Beth" McGovern of Boynton Beach, FL; Kristin Pacitto of Deerfield Beach, FL; and Richard Davis of Westport Island, ME. He leaves his mother and stepfather Barbara and F. Jan White of Georgetown, ME, and his father Henry "Hank" Pacitto and his late wife Carol (O'Brien) Pacitto. He leaves extended family, several nieces and nephews, and many dear friends.Friends and family are cordially invited to honor and remember Ed by gathering for a Visitation on Thursday, July 19, 2018, from 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro, MA.Family and friends are cordially invited to attend a Funeral Service in honor of Ed on Saturday, July 21, 2018, at 10:00 AM at Good News Bible Chapel, 235 West Street, Attleboro, Massachusetts, with a time of fellowship and food to follow.
