Eduarda Estrella Paulo

Eduarda Estrella Paulo, 92, of Attleboro, MA passed away surrounded by her loving sons at her residence on Friday, January 10, 2025. She was the beloved and devoted wife of the late Alfredo DeCampos Paulo to whom she was married on December 17. 1956, and who entered into eternal rest on October 13, 2007.

Born in Sao Miguel, Portugal on January 30, 1932, she was a daughter of the late Joao Pereira and the late Maria Pereira. She immigrated to the United States in 1967 having come to the country through Brazil where she had resided and gave birth to her sons.

She was a woman of strong faith and devotion and had been a longtime communicant of the former Holy Ghost Roman Catholic Church in the Lonicut section of the City of Attleboro and upon the church's closing worshipped at St. John the Evangelist Church, Attleboro.

Prior to her retirement, she was employed by L.G. Balfour Company in Attleboro for many years.

A lifelong animal lover, her family recalls with fondness her enjoying knitting, crocheting and solving word search puzzles. However, she may be best remembered for her delicious Portuguese cuisine meals made for family and friends.

Left to celebrate her life are her two dedicated sons: Robert D. Paulo and Joseph Paulo both of Attleboro, MA and with whom she resided; her cherished granddaughters: Lisa Paulo Kalajian of Somerset, MA and Samantha Paulo of Berkeley, M and her much loved great grandchildren: Tyler Dean, Wyatt Dean and Haley Kalajian.

She also leaves many nieces, nephews, extended family members and dear friends.

Mrs. Paulo was the mother of the late Nelson DeCampos Paulo who died on March 26, 2013, and was the sister of the late Georgina Pereira, Maria L. Pavao, Joao L. Pereira and Manuel Pereira.

Family and friends are warmly invited to attend visitation on Wednesday, January 15, 2025, from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro, MA.

The funeral will commence on Thursday, January 16, 2025, at 8:30 am from the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro, MA followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am at St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, North Main Street - Route 152, Attleboro, MA with Rev. Craig Pregana, Pastor, officiating.

Burial will follow in St. John's Cemetery, West Street, Attleboro, MA where she will be laid to rest with her husband and son.
