Edouard A. Benoit

Edouard A. Benoit, 83, of Harrisville, RI, passed away peacefully at his home. He was the beloved husband of Florence Taylor Benoit and the late Margaret S. (Allard) Benoit.Born on July 12, 1933 in Central Falls, RI, he was the son of the late Adelade and Antoinette (Boucher) Benoit.A graduate of Sacred Heart Academy in Central Falls, Class of 1953, Edouard proudly and honorably served our country from 1952 until 1956 in the United States Air Force. He worked for many years as Security Officer for Ann & Hope in Lincoln, RI, before retiring in 2001. He enjoyed bowling and fishing and spending time with his family. In addition to his wife, Edouard is survived by his cherished daughter, Debra (Benoit) Cote of Plainville, MA. He was the brother of Gerard Benoit, Violet LeMay, Janet Tormey, Constance Bessette, and the late Elaine Oldrid.
