Earl Winslow Weeman, 88, a longtime resident on Bungay Lake, North Attleboro, peacefully passed away at his home on Tuesday, April 19, 2016. He was the loving husband of the late Ada A. (Morrison) Weeman.Born on March 16, 1928 in Attleboro, MA, he was the son of the late Clarence Weeman and the late Irene (Knowles) Weeman.Earl was a graduate of Attleboro High School, Class of 1947. He was a Veteran of the United States Navy, where he honorably served our country during the Korean Conflict. In his younger years, he was employed by Metals Control (TI) of Attleboro, and then later joined the North Attleboro and Mansfield Police Departments, retiring as a Sergeant in 1987. He then enjoyed driving school busses for Holmes Transportation, servicing the Town of North Attleboro. He was a member of the Shriners and the Masons, was an avid Patriots and Red Sox fan, and truly enjoyed spending time with his family, camping, and traveling. He is survived by his beloved children: Bruce D. Weeman and his wife, Cecile, of North Attleboro, MA; Beth A. Reed-Knott and her husband, Thomas, of Palm Coast, FL; Andrea E. Barber of North Attleboro, MA; Gregory M. Weeman and his wife, Beverly, of Rehoboth, MA; Jennifer J. Moreau and her husband, Jeffrey, of North Attleboro, MA; Lisa L. Weeman-Graney of Attleboro, MA; Amy C. Davenport and her husband, Scott, of Merrimack, NH; Lesley E. Garrigus and her husband, Stephen of Norton, MA; and Stuart E. Weeman and his wife, Anita, of Barrington, RI. He leaves twenty-seven grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild. He was the brother of Carlton Weeman and his wife, Doris, of Attleboro, MA.Earl was the brother of the late Virginia (Weeman) Rice of North Attleboro, MA, and the late Barbara (Weeman) John of Lee Center, IL.Friends and family are cordially invited to attend a Visitation on Wednesday, April 27, 2016 from 3:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro.Burial will be private in Mount Hope Cemetery and Arboretum, North Attleboro.In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Earl's memory to the Shriners Burn Hospital for Children, 51 Blossom Street, Boston, MA 02114.For additional information or to send the family a written expression of sympathy, please visit an on-line guest book at
