Douglas Mccabe

June 23, 1944 — April 15, 2021

Douglas Gladstone McCabe, 76, of North Attleboro, MA passed away on Wednesday, April 14, 2021 at the Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton, MA.
Born in Boston, MA on June 23, 1944, he was a son of the late Warren McCabe, Sr., and the late Rose (Bennett) McCabe.  He was a graduate of St. Andrew's High School in Jamaica Plain, MA.
Mr. McCabe was employed by Kraft Food Inc. in Pennsylvania for many years prior to his retirement.
He was a resident of North Attleboro, MA for the past two years having moved to the community from Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.
Mr. McCabe will be remembered by his family for his unique sense of humor and being a thoughtful, affectionate, caring, and loving man.
His love for antiques led him to hold a flea market every Saturday and Sunday.
Left to mourn his loss are his former spouse: Marilyn (Woodcock) Kennedy of Dedham, MA; his children: Jacqueline L. McCabe of North Attleboro, MA and her former spouse: Brian Farrell of North Dighton, MA; Steven D. McCabe of Millis, MA and Sean Kennedy in Connecticut; his grandchildren: Kerrin Ricci in Rhode Island; Emily McCabe of Millis, MA; Nicole McCabe of Quincy, MA and Matthew McCabe of Quincy, MA; his siblings: Warren McCabe, Jr. of Harrisburg, PA and Earl McCabe of Attleboro, MA and several extended family members and friends.  He was the grandfather of the late Shane Farrell who died on June 3, 2015 and was the brother of the late Bruce McCabe, Taunton Police Department.
Visitation has been respectfully omitted.
With strict adherence to applicable Covid-19 health precautions, including social distancing and the use of facemasks, family and friends are cordially invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at the Transfiguration of the Lord Parish - St. Mary, Park Street, North Attleboro, MA on Saturday, May 1, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. under the care of the family.

Burial will be private.
