Dorothy (Lowe) Taylor-Gow, 83, of Julia Drive, Attleboro, peacefully passed away on Tuesday, December 22, 2015 at Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro, MA. She was the beloved wife of the late Peter Gow and the late Bruce R. Rawson. Born in New Bedford, MA on April 10, 1932, she was the daughter of Frank Lowe and Mak (Shee) Lowe. Dorothy was a graduate of New Bedford High School and worked for many years at Art's Cleaners in North Attleboro, as well as at Shaw's Supermarket and Madonna Manor Nursing Home. Dorothy resided in Attleboro for the past nine years, and attended All Saints Episcopal Church in Attleboro. She was an ardent fan of her Boston Red Sox, and was a woman who always committed her full energies to her work. She genuinely loved people, as she did her dear cat and companion, "Graelin". Dorothy delighted in all things having to do with "Garfield" the cat. Above all, she loved her family and time spent with them. She is survived by her loving children: Jennifer R. Douglas of Georgia; Pamela F. Rawson of Attleboro, MA; Lance L. Rawson of Georgia; Joyce V. Cohen of Texas; Stefanie L. VanStory of North Attleboro, MA; and Lois Rawson of North Attleboro, MA; two beloved sisters: Annia Giger of Braintree, MA; and Jennie L. Fong of Cumberland, RI; eleven cherished grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and her extended family. Dorothy was the mother of the late Bruce Edward Everett Rawson and the sister of the late George Lowe and Alice Chen. Family and friends are cordially invited to attend a Visitation on Wednesday, December 30, 2015 from 1:00 - 2:00 p.m. in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home - the national historic Colonel Obed Robinson Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue (exit 5 off I-95 N or S, go right, ¾ mile on the left), Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend a Funeral Service immediately following visitation on Wednesday, December 30, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home.
