Dorothy Elizabeth Moore

Dorothy Elizabeth (Publicover) Moore, 62, of Attleboro, peacefully passed away on Thursday, November 19, 2015 at Golden Living Center Garden Place in Attleboro, MA.  She was the beloved wife of the late William T. Moore.   Born in Boston, MA on May 24, 1953, she was the daughter of Francis Publicover and Katherine (Fanning) Publicover. Dorothy was a graduate of Whitman-Hanson Regional High School in Whitman, MA, Class of 1971, and made her home in Attleboro for the past several years. A homemaker whose greatest love and proudest achievement was her family, especially, her children, grandchildren and nieces, she was a mother to all who knew her. She was an avid reader who also enjoyed journaling; a woman who loved animals, especially cats, music, particularly classic rock, and the New England Patriots.She is survived by her three beloved children: Jennifer K. Davies and her husband, Guy W. Davies, of Attleboro, MA; Nathan M. Moore and his wife, Caitlin E. Moore, of Johnston, RI; and Kaitlin R. Grant and her husband, Mark T. Grant, Jr., of Mansfield, MA. She was the cherished grandmother of Abigail, Riley and Lucy, and had looked forward to the birth of a new grandson in February. Dorothy was the sister of Michael Publicover of Goodyear, AZ, and the aunt of five dear nieces: Kristin, Lisa, Katie, Jackie and Jean.   She was the sister of the late Kathleen (Publicover) O'Brien.   Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend a Memorial Visitation on Wednesday, November 25, 2015 from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home - the national historic Colonel Obed Robinson Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, (exit 5 off I-95 N or S, go right at end of ramp, 3/4 mile on left), Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro.   Burial services will be private.   In lieu of flowers, memorial donations made to The Alzheimer's Association, 480 Pleasant Street, Watertown, MA 02472 in Dorothy's memory to would be appreciated.   For additional information or to send the family a written expression of sympathy, please visit an on-line guest book at www.dyer-lakefuneralhome.com .  Arrangements are under the direction of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro.   (508) 695-0200
