Doris J. (Beausoleil) Charette Marvelle, 77, of Old Diamond Hill Road, Cumberland, Rhode Island, died on Sunday, July 1, 2012 at the Emerald Bay Manor. Born in East Vassalboro, Maine on June 28, 1935, she was a daughter of the late George A. and Clara D. (Ames) Beausoleil. She was a graduate of Norton High School and later earned her degree to work as a licensed practical nurse. Mrs. Marvelle was employed for several years at the former Wrentham State School, now the Wrentham Developmental Center, as a licensed practical nurse prior to her retirement in 2000. She resided in the Attleboro / North Attleboro area for more than 60 years. Mrs. Marvelle attended Murray Unitarian Universalist Church in Attleboro. She enjoyed painting, quilting, and reading and was an ardent traveler. Mrs. Marvelle leaves four children: Gale Sears of Pawtucket, Rhode Island; Douglas Charette of North Attleboro; Donna Issler of Woonsocket, Rhode Island and Michael Charette of Pawtucket, Rhode Island; 10 grandchildren; nine great grandchildren and several extended family members. She was predeceased by two brothers and two sisters. Visitation has been respectfully omitted. Family and friends are cordially invited to attend a Memorial Service in Celebration of Her Life on Sunday, July 15, 2012 at 3:00 PM at Murray Unitarian Universalist Church, North Main Street - Route 152, Attleboro with the Rev. Sandra D. Fitz-Henry, Pastor, officiating. Please omit flowers.
