Doris Faye Lincoln

Doris Faye (Robison) Lincoln, 87, of Attleboro, MA went home to be with the Lord unexpectedly at her residence on Monday, December 26, 2022. She was the beloved wife of George Palmer Lincoln III to whom she was married on July 21, 1956.
Born in rural Bryson City, North Carolina on November 19, 1935, she was a daughter of Harvey Palmer Robison and the late Nannie Elizabeth (Brogden) Robison. Raised and educated in North Carolina, Mrs. Lincoln was received her Bachelor's degree in Religious Studies at the former New England Baptist Divinity Academy and earned her teacher's certificate and taught at a Christian School in Holbrook. She previously had been a bookkeeper for a financial institute but primarily devoted and dedicated herself to being a wonderful homemaker to her family.
She will be remembered for her intelligence, wisdom and strong religious beliefs. As a highly intelligent woman, she spoke both Latin and Greek.
Committed to her faith, she was a Sunday School and Bible School teacher for almost 65 collective years at Grace Baptist Church, Attleboro, New England Baptist Church in West Bridgewater, MA and Temple Baptist Church in West Bridgewater, MA.
She and her husband were very involved in the bus ministry within the churches they called home.
At Grace Baptist Church, she was instrumental in the AWANA girls youth association.
In addition to her devoted husband, she leaves two sons: George Palmer Lincoln IV of Foxboro, MA and Timothy Harvey Lincoln and his wife, Annmarie (Brisette) Lincoln of Attleboro, MA; 6 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by all of her siblings.
A Celebration of Her Life will be held at the Temple Baptist Church in West Bridgewater, MA on a date and at a time to be announced.
