Dorinne C. Tewfik

Dorinne Cecile (Cobb) Tewfik, 68, of North Attleboro, MA passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at her residence on Sunday. November 15, 2020.  She was the former spouse of the late Samir Tewfik who died in July 2012.
Born in Pawtucket, Rhode Island on August 21, 1952, she was a daughter of Helene C. (LaPerche) Cobb Sheppard and her husband, Paul G. Sheppard, of Oakland, Maine and the late Vincent Ambrose Cobb.
She was raised and educated in North Attleboro where she was a 1970 graduate of North Attleboro High School.  She received an associate degree from Johnson & Wales and a paralegal certificate from Fisher College.
Ms. Tewfik was employed as a paralegal secretary for a law firm in California for 12 years and also had employment in many temporary office assignments.
She returned to North Attleboro in 1986 having been a resident of the State of California from 1973-1986.
Ms. Tewfik was a communicant of the Transfiguration of the Lord Parish - St. Mark in North Attleboro.
She was an ardent reader and enjoyed creating hand work; however, her favorite times were those spent with her father sitting on the front porch having conversation.
In addition to her mother and her mother's spouse, she leaves a daughter: Mona Paniccia and her husband, Valentino Paniccia, of Simi Valley, CA; three grandchildren: Grace, Emma and Valentino "Tino" Paniccia all of Simi Valley, CA; two brothers: David V. Cobb of North Attleboro, MA and Daniel J. Cobb of Carmichael, CA; several aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family members.
With strict adherence to applicable Covid-19 health precautions, including social distancing and the mandatory use of facemasks, relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend Visitation on Friday, December 4, 2020 from 10:00 - 11:00 AM in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro followed by a Funeral Service at 11:00 AM.
Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Attleboro Falls, MA.
As an expression of sympathy and in lieu of flowers, memorial donations in her name may be made to Meals on Wheels of Bristol County, 1 Father DeValles Boulevard - Unit 8, Fall River, MA 02723 or to the Transfiguration of the Lord Parish - St. Vincent de Paul Chapter, 14 Park Street, North Attleboro, MA  02760.
