Donna Lee Moore

Donna Lee (Dixon) Moore, 68, of Attleboro, MA, peacefully passed away on Saturday, August 5, 2017 surrounded by her cherished wife and family. Donna died as the result of pancreatic cancer, but truly lived a full and wonderful life.Donna was the beloved wife of Donna Bishop Triggs, to whom she was married on July 3, 2004. She was the former wife for twenty-seven years of William F. Moore, Jr.Born on June 17, 1949 in Pensacola, FL, she was the daughter of the late Howard Gist Dixon, Jr. and the late Mary Jean (Lillibridge) Dixon.Donna was a graduate of the International School in Bangkok, Thailand, Class of 1967 and the Bancroft School of Massage Therapy. She attended Nasson College, and the University of Hawaii, she worked for the Plymouth Bay Girl Scouts for fifteen years, and then for many years worked as a self-employed Massage Therapist before retiring in 2009. Donna was a resident of Attleboro for the past twelve years, having previously resided in Coventry, RI and Bourne, MA.An active, engaging, and outgoing woman, she was a Life Member of Girls Scouts USA, a member of the Falmouth area International Order of the Rainbow for Girls, and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. She loved camping, telling stories, spending time with her family, and the companionship of her cherished Dachshunds: "Ivory", "Sandy" and "Ella".In addition to her wife, she is survived by her treasured daughters: Paula Erin (Moore) Tobey and her husband, Seth T. Tobey, of Kingswood, TX, and Jennifer Colleen (Moore) Wilson and her husband, David A. Wilson, of Wareham, MA. Donna was the dear step-mother of Robin (Triggs) Mott and her husband, William A. Mott, of Coventry, RI; and Kristina (Triggs) Costigan and her husband, Jason P. Costigan, of Coventry, RI. She was the adoring grandmother of Paige, Anita-Marie, Audrey, Graham, Michael, Katelyn, Hannah, Henry, Brogan, and Abbie. She was the sister of David Gist Dixon and his wife, Mariyln G. (Sage) Dixon, of Levittown, PA, and the late Jeffrey Allen Dixon. She leaves her nephew, Dennis Jeffrey Dixon of Hampton, PA and his wife, Stacey Boyele Dixon, and their twin children.Family and friends are invited to honor and remember Donna by gathering for a Visitation on Friday, August 11, 2017 from 4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro, MA, immediately followed by a Funeral Service at 6:00 p.m. at Dyer-Lake Funeral Home.
