Donald W. Troppoli, 70, of Rehoboth, died on June 30, 2011. Husband of Christine K. Frith-Troppoli. Born in Providence on October 5, 1940, he was a son of the late Dr. Daniel V. and Mrs. Catharen B. (Webster) Troppoli. He resided in Rehoboth for 30 years and was a former resident of Barrington. Mr. Troppoli also served in the United States Army. He was employed as a purchasing manager for GTECH for the past 17 years. Previously, Mr. Troppoli was employed by Laserfare and Imperial Knife. In addition to his wife, he leaves three children: Donald M. Troppoli of Portsmouth; Steven M. Troppoli of Carlisle, MA and Siobhan J. Reynolds of Newport; four grandchildren: Isabella Rose Troppoli and Ava Esmond Troppoli both of Portsmouth and Josephine Elizabeth Troppoli and Isaac Meader Troppoli both of Carlisle, MA and a sister: Jane W. Lomas of Coventry. Graveside funeral service on Thursday, July 7, 2011 at 2:00 PM at Stevens Corner Cemetery, Anawan Street, Rehoboth. A Celebration of His Life will follow from 4:00 7:00 PM at the Johnson & Wales Inn Hospitality Center, 213Taunton Street, Seekonk.
