Donald C. Soule, 97, of North Attleboro, a cherished husband, father, brother, grandfather, and great grandfather, passed away peacefully on October 1, 2026.
Born in Attleboro, Massachusetts, he was the son of the late William and Dorothy (Monroe) Soule. Donald was the loving husband of Evelyn (Anderson) Soule, his high school sweetheart.
Donald was one of six children, he had five sisters and one brother, Ester, Margie, Bill, Dorothy, Helen and Charlotte. All are Mayflower pilgrim descendants.
He joined the Army in 1948 as a combat engineer and served 21 years rising to Master Sergeant. Donald and Evelyn married on May 9, 1952, and together raised six children.
From his hometown in Plainville, Massachusetts, he started D.C. Soule and Sons Construction with skills he learned in the military and earned his associate degree in business management.
His sense of duty to public service was his motivation to become Plainville Building Inspector, Plainville Veterans Agent, a member of Plainville Lions Club and various Plainville building committees.
