Donald Everett Lyle, Jr., known as "Donnie" and "Don Wa", 55, of Orchard Lane, Attleboro, died on February 7, 2015 at St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Brighton. Born in Pawtucket, Rhode Island on November 9, 1959, he was a son of Margaret R. (Vincent) Lyle of Attleboro and the late Donald E. Lyle, Sr. He was raised and educated in Attleboro where he remained a lifelong resident. He was a 1977 graduate of Attleboro High School. At Attleboro High School, Mr. Lyle was a quarterback for the school football team, was a shortstop for the school baseball team and was elected as an All American sportsman. Mr. Lyle was employed as a professional driver having been employed by R & L Carriers in Canton for the past ten years. He was a communicant of St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, Attleboro. A lifelong sports enthusiast, Mr. Lyle was an ardent football, baseball, hockey and golf fan with a special love for all the Boston teams. His most treasured times were those spent creating lifelong memories with his daughters. In addition to his mother, he leaves two daughters: Danielle E. Lyle and Jessica A. Lyle both of Rehoboth; his siblings: Deborah A. Cornetta and her husband, Dennis A. Cornett, Sr., of Attleboro; Diane L. Lyle of Mansfield and David E. Lyle, Sr. of Attleboro; his maternal grandfather: Wilfred J. Fortin of Las Vegas, Nevada; his nephews: Dennis A. Cornetta, Jr., Devan A. Cornetta, Desmond C. Cornetta and Aidan M. Lyle; his companion: Debbie Thomas of East Bridgewater; his former wife: Jennifer A. (Fonger) Lyle of Rehoboth and several aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members and dear friends. He was the uncle of the late David E. Lyle, Jr. Family and friends are cordially invited to attend visitation on Monday, February 16, 2015 from 4:00 - 5:45 PM in the "Commonwealth Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home - 161 Commonwealth Avenue (exit 5 off I-95 N or S, go right, mile on the left), Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro. Relatives and friends are welcome to attend the Funeral Service at the conclusion of visitation on Monday, February 16, 2015 at 6:00 PM in the "Commonwealth Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home.
