Donald Scott Heines

Donald Scott Heines, 90, of Lake Drive, Orleans, died on Thursday, March 12, 2015 at the Pleasant Bay Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Brewster where he had been a resident for the previous week. He was the husband of Jane E. (Sheridan) Anderson to whom he was married for 8 months. He was the husband of the late Elizabeth S. (Shultz) Heines to whom he was married on June 6, 1954 and died on January 29, 2012. Born in New York City, New York on October 7, 1924, he was a son of the late Frederick and Helen (Scott) Heines. He was a veteran of the United States Navy having served during the World War II era in the Pacific. Mr. Heines was an English professor having taught at both Uppsala College and the Community College of Cape Cod. He resided on Cape Cod for the past 44 years having previously resided in East Orange, New Jersey. Mr. Heines attended the Federated Church of Orleans in East Orleans.
