Donald Peter "Papa Don" Chisholm, 72, of Lawn Street, South Attleboro, passed away at his home on Wednesday, November 18, 2015 after a lengthy illness. He was the beloved husband of Elizabeth A. (Sencabaugh) Chisholm, to whom he was wed on June 5, 2005. Born in Cambridge, MA on August 29, 1943, he was the son of Donald Chisholm and Nettie (Gaudet) Chisholm. Mr. Chisholm was a graduate of Boston College High School and received his Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from Bentley University. He was employed as an Accountant at College Pro Painting for many years before retiring in 2007. A resident of Attleboro, MA for more than twenty-five years, he previously resided in Stoughton, MA. He was an active man throughout his life who thoroughly enjoyed playing golf, working on model trains, and photography. He was a member of the USGA, and served as a member of the Norwood Youth Hockey Board of Directors. Above all, though, he loved being with his family, especially his many cherished grandchildren and great-grandchild. In addition to his wife, Elizabeth, he is survived by beloved children: Wendy A. Stigelman of Cumberland, RI; Samuel R. Chisholm and his wife, Dayna M. Chisholm, of Uxbridge, MA; Andrew P. Chisholm and his wife, Elizabeth T. Chisholm, of Attleboro, MA; Amy E. Brassard of Attleboro, MA; Stacy J. Mollman and her husband, Jerald R. Mollman, of Attleboro, MA; and Rev. Dr. S. William Sencabaugh, and his wife, Julie (Tensel) Sencabaugh, of Shelburne Falls, MA. He was the brother of Vern Chisholm and his wife, Exie Chisholm, of GA. Mr. Chisholm leaves his treasured grandchildren: Bryce, Liam, and Zachary Mollman; Shawn and Jesse Brassard; Drew and Jenna Sencabaugh; Olivia Stigelman; and Griffin, Nathan, Colton and Nicholas Chisholm; and his special great-granddaughter, Layla May Mollman. He was the former husband of Carol (Walker) Chisholm of Northbridge, MA, and leaves his son-in-law, Kurt Stigelman of Pembroke, MA; several nieces and nephews, and many dear friends. He was the adoring grandfather of the late Angelica Diane Stigelman. Visitation has respectfully been omitted. A Celebration of Life service will be privately held by Mr. Chisholm's family.
