Donald Bradford Bither, 77, of Main Street, Wareham died unexpectedly at his residence on January 6, 2015. Born in Barnstable on March 10, 1937, he was a son of the late Wallace F. and Amy E. (Estes) Bither. He was a lifelong resident of Wareham. He was a graduate of Wareham High School and was a proud veteran of the US Navy having served from 1957 - 1961. Mr. Bither was employed as a supervisor for the former Commonwealth Electric for 31 years prior to his retirement in 1991. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, competitive shooting, participating in pistol competitions and caring for his plants. He leaves two sons: Dale C. Bither of Wareham and Donald B. Bither, Jr. of Antrim, NH; three grandchildren: Shane, Brandon and Carolyn Bither; two brothers: George Bither of Taunton and Richard Bither of Wareham and many nieces and nephews. Visitation has been respectfully omitted. Funeral services will be private. Private burial will be in the Poor Farm Cemetery, Crowell Lane, Sandwich.
