Don G. Shumaker

Don G. Shumaker of Rehoboth, Massachusetts, the husband of Karin (Martin-Caouette)Shumaker, passed away peacefully with his wife by his side on January 29, 2015 after a brief illness. Don and Karin celebrated their 30th wedding anniversary in December. Don was born June 4, 1942, the son of the late Albert David Shumaker and stepson of the late Florence Eaton. In addition to his wife, Don is survived by his daughter: Christine and a son: Don G. Shumaker, Jr.; his sister: Gail Keniston and her husband, Ralph - Don's best buddy, of Florida; a brother: Steven Shumaker of Massachusetts; a sister-in-law: Priscilla Petruzzi and her husband, Rick, of Florida; seven grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his stepson: Lawrence Caouette III; his sister: Barbara Pollard and brother: David Shumaker. Private funeral services were held. The Dyer-Lake Funeral Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro assisted the family with arrangements.
