Dolores Margaret (Morin ) Fontneau, 86, of Attleboro, passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 17, 2017 at Life Care Center of Attleboro in Attleboro, MA. She was the beloved wife of the late Roger Robert Fontneau who died on September 1, 1994.Born on July 5, 1931 in Attleboro, she was the daughter of the late Joseph P. Morin and the late Eva May (Barrett) Morin.A lifelong resident of Attleboro, she was a graduate of Attleboro High School, Class of 1949. Dolores retired in 1981 after having worked for many years as a Bookkeeper and Secretary for Thomas O. Castro, CPA in Attleboro, and for the former Robbins Company and the Swank Company, both in Attleboro. She attended St. John the Evangelist Parish in Attleboro. A warm and engaging woman, she had many interests. She was an avid reader, particularly enjoying mystery novels; enjoyed jigsaw puzzles and caring for her home. She loved square dancing and was for many years a member of the Merry Jesters. Dolores truly cherished spending time with her family. She was the loving mother of David Michael Fontneau of Attleboro, MA; Thomas J, Fontneau and his wife, Maureen B. (MacDonald) Fontneau, of Chepachet, RI; and Gary Fontneau and his wife, Amy S. (Iltzsch) Fontneau, of Seekonk, MA. She was the adoring grandmother of Gwendolyn Jean Ryan and Justin Richard Fontneau, and the great-grandmother of Jaiden R. Hutchinson and Hadley Quinn Ryan.
