Dolores Regina (Fontaine) Boillard, 88, of North Attleboro, MA passed away on September 16, 2025, at the Alliance Health at Maples, Wrentham, MA following a period of declining health. She was the wife of the late John "Red" Boillard.
Born in Central Falls, Rhode Island on August 31, 1937, she was a daughter of the late Rudolph Fontaine and the late Lucille (Dubois) Fontaine. Raised and educated In Rhode Island, Mrs. Boillard was a graduate of the former Notre Dame High School in Central Falls, Rhode Island.
In earlier years, she was employed at Standard Romper and Healthtex Clothes both in Central Falls, RI.
She attended the First Baptist Church of North Attleboro.
Dolores had a lifelong love for horses and enjoyed training, riding and caring for them. She was also an ardent reader.
She leaves her children: Debra A. Oldrid in Maine; Michael J. Oldrid and his wife, Claudette, of North Providence, RI and Brian Oldrid in Maine; several grandchildren, several great grandchildren; her siblings: Lucille Boudreau of Pawtucket, RI; Simonne Emmett of Pawtucket, RI; Beatrice Girard of North Attleboro, MA; Jeanne Fontaine of North Attleboro, MA; Joanne Gilbert of Woonsocket, RI; Lynette Fontaine of Warwick, RI; Paul Fontaine of North Attleboro, MA and Emil Fontaine of North Attleboro, MA and countless nieces, nephews and extended family members.
She was the sister of the late Alice St. Pierre, Doris Lawrence and Leo Fontaine.
Family and friends are cordially invited to attend Visitation on Thursday, September 25, 2025, anytime from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro, MA followed immediately by a Funeral Service at 7:00 pm in the "Memorial Chapel".
Burial services will be conducted privately.
Memorial donations may be sent to either St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or to the American Association for the Blind.
