Dianne A. Moore Rn

December 4, 1946 — January 29, 2025

Dianne A. (Leonard) Moore, R.N., 78, a devoted hospice nurse, of South Attleboro, MA passed away on January 29, 2025, at the Miriam Hospital in Providence, Rhode Island. She was the wife of the late Paul F. Moore who died July 8, 2007. She was the life companion of John Rudkowski with whom she resided and shared many wonderful years.

Born in Waltham, MA on December 4, 1946, she was a daughter of the late Thomas B. Leonard and the late Marguerite C. (McLaughlin) Leonard. Raised and educated in Watertown, MA She was a dedicated homemaker to her children and a very active volunteer in her children's school activities. At the age of 50, she decided to fulfill a lifelong dream of becoming a registered nurse. She matriculated and graduated from the former Pondville School of Nursing where she earned her L.P.N. and later earned her R.N. after graduating from Laboure College. Her nursing career began at the former Pondville Hospital but later found her calling as a dedicated and devoted nurse caring for hospice patients and their families. Her dedication and care for her patients and families created lifelong bonds and friendships. As a registered nurse for the former Community Visiting Nurse Agency in Attleboro, MA, she worked for the organization for many years prior to her well-deserved retirement.

She was an active volunteer for the City of Attleboro, particularly during the administration of former mayor Judith Robbins.

All of her favorite times were those spent in the company of family and friends, and she enjoyed many trips to Minnesota, North Carolina, Tennessee and Florida to visit her beloved daughter and son and their families. She was generous and helpful to others always putting their needs above her own. The summer heat often brought Dianne poolside where she relaxed with the friends from her community and worked on her golden tan.

In addition to John, she leaves her children: Michelle Fennessy and her husband, David Fennessy, of Wilmington, North Carolina and Michael Thibault of Tampa, Florida; 8 grandchildren:
Zachary and Maddison Fennessy; Brittney, Mark and Jacob Thibault, Dylan and Nathan Thibault and Britney Kendrick; several great grandchildren; her siblings: Barbara Shaw of Bellingham, MA; Thomas Leonard of North Conway, NH; Patricia White and her husband, Terry White, of Whitinsville, MA; Robert Leonard and his significant other, Karen Marshall, of Harrison, Maine and Joseph Leonard and his significant other, Brenda Lawrence, of Burlington, MA; several nieces and nephews, extended family members, friends and former colleagues.
