Diane Rita (Grenon) Vance, 65, Attleboro, MA, passed away at her residence surrounded by her loving family on January 25, 2023.
Born in Central Falls, Rhode Island on February 1, 1957, she was a daughter of the late Robert J. Grenon and the late Antoinette (Simoneau) Grenon Bernier.
She was raised and attended schools in Attleboro and remained a resident of the city for most of her life.
Diane had been employed as the Activities Director at Pleasant Street Rest Home in Attleboro. Previously, she was employed as an inspector for Barry Industries for more than 20 years.
She had a strong faith in God and was happiest when helping people or volunteering at local food pantries.
The self-proclaimed "Queen of Karaoke" also enjoyed playing cards with family and friends.
Left to mourn her loss are her children: Gerard Pfiel, Jr. of Attleboro, MA; Mark A. Vance of Attleboro, MA; Joshua Vance of Attleboro, MA and Deborah Sabourin of Pawtucket, Rhode Island; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; her siblings: Roberta Silva, Phyllis Ruzzano, David Grenon, James Grenon and Norman Grenon; many nieces and nephews, extended family and friends.
She was the sister of the late Richard Grenon and Deborah Grenon.
All services will be private.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to Breast Cancer Awareness, Shriner's Childrens Hospital or to send a care package to soldiers overseas.
