Diane Marie Smith

Diane Marie (Morrow) Smith, 51, of Westport, MA, passed away on Sunday, November 13, 2016 at Charlton Memorial Hospital in Fall River, MA. She was the loving and beloved wife of Rick Smith.Born on May 31, 1965 in Attleboro, MA, she was the daughter of Mae I. (Austin) Fitton and the late George William Morrow.Diane was a graduate of Attleboro High School, Class of 1983, and at the time of her death worked for CranCom, Inc. in Taunton, MA as a finance officer. She was a resident of Westport, MA for the past sixteen years, having previously lived in Taunton.Diane was an avid fan of all of the Boston area sports teams, a Fantasy Football fanatic, and enjoyed playing most any kind of on-line games. She loved all dogs, and had a special place in her heart for her own faithful companions over the years: "Chelsea", "Molly", "Java", "Tessie", and "Cricket".In addition to her husband, Rick, and her mother, she is survived by her beloved children: Allison (Frenier) Banforth of Clinton, MA, and Ashley (Frenier) Dennehy of Middleboro, MA. She was the sister of Lisa N. Morrow and her wife, Cindy J. Morrow, of Mashpee, MA, and the late Carol A. (Morrow) Gately; and leaves her niece and her nephewDiane's family will be arranging a Celebration of Life service in her memory at her home in Westport, MA at a time to be announced.
