Diane Marie (Luongo) Kade, 63, of North Attleboro, MA passed away surrounded by her loving family at her residence on January 13th, 2024. She was the wife of Thomas Edward Kade to whom she was married on June 13th, 1981, at St. Martha Church, Plainville, MA.
Born in Boston, MA on February 1st, 1960, she was a daughter of the late Frank P. Luongo and the late Catherine J. (Brooks) Luongo. She was a graduate of King Philip Regional High School - Class of 1979 and then attended Arthur Angelo Beauty School for two years.
Mrs. Kade was a hairdresser for many years in various local hair salons but primarily was a dedicated and devoted homemaker to her husband and children. Diane loved to sew, spend time in her garden and make her house a home for family and friends.
She was a communicant of the Transfiguration of the Lord Parish at St. Mary.
Her favorite pastime was creating lifelong memories with her family and grandchildren. She enjoyed the Cape Cod shoreline beaches, time at the family pool and spending time with her beloved husband.
In addition to her husband, she leaves two children: Her daughter Michelle Marie Tucker and her husband, Craig Tucker, of North Attleboro, MA and her son Christopher Edward Kade and his wife, Amanda (Sullivan) Kade of North Attleboro, MA; seven grandchildren: Emily Tucker, Nathaniel Tucker, Madelyn Tucker, Jacob Kade, James Kade, Emma Kade and Max Kade; her siblings: Deborah Luongo in Florida; her identical twin sister: Denise Luongo and her husband, Stephen Luongo, of North Attleboro, MA and Robert Luongo and his wife, Kimberly Luongo, in Ohio; her siblings-in-law: John "Jack" Kade of Plainville, MA; Maureen Robertson and her husband, David Robertson of Plainville, MA and Kathleen Kade of Attleboro, MA and several nieces, nephews and many dear friends.
A private Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Thursday, January 18th, 2024, at the Transfiguration of the Lord Parish - St. Mary, Park Street, North Attleboro, MA. Burial followed in Mount Hope Cemetery and Arboretum, Mount Hope Street, North Attleboro, MA.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that her family and friends take a moment to remember a special memory and time shared with Diane and to say a special prayer in her honor and memory.
