Diane Lee Boucher

Diane Lee (Staples) Boucher, 66, of Attleboro, MA, passed away on Thursday, April 22, 2021 at Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro due to complications of the Covid-19 virus. She was the beloved wife of the late Raymond Leo Boucher whom she married on June 23, 1989 and who died on August 31, 2008.
Born on July 11, 1954 in Weymouth, MA, she was the loving daughter of Joan M. (Bryan) Staples of Hanson, MA, and the late John E. Staples Sr.
Diane was a graduate of Whitman-Hanson High School, Class of 1973 and attended Massasoit Community College.  She was a resident of Attleboro for the past thirty-five years.
Diane cherished her role as a homemaker to her family.  More than anything in life, she treasured spending time with her children and grandchildren.  A warm, caring, and active woman with an ever-present smile, she enjoyed visits to the beaches of Cape Cod and shopping.
In addition to her mother, Joan, she leaves her loving children: Heather L. (Staples) Simoneau and her husband, Christopher, of North Providence RI; Joshua R. Boucher of Attleboro, MA; and Brittany L. Boucher, of Attleboro, MA.   She was the proud and adoring grandmother of Jonathan and Robert Simoneau; and Jarod, Connor, and Spencer Boucher. Diane was the dear sister of Susan (Staples) Burbine of South Daytona FL; John E. Staples Jr of Colonia, NJ; and Kathleen (Staples)Hale of Grantham NH. She leaves several nieces and nephews, her extended family, and many dear friends.  Diane was predeceased by her grandparents: Arthur and Svea (Ahlstrom) Staples Sr. and Joseph and Margaret (Clancy) Bryan.
With strict adherence to applicable Covid-19 health precautions, including social distancing and the use of facemasks, family and friends are cordially invited to attend a Memorial Visitation in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro, MA, on Sunday, May 16, 2021 from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m.
Burial will be private.
As an expression of sympathy and in lieu of sending flowers, donations made in memory of Diane to a non-profit organization of one's choice benefiting Covid-19 patients and survivors.
