Diane Lynn Bechard

Diane Lynn (Fuller) Bechard, 64, of Nelson Lane, Rehoboth, died on Saturday, February 2, 2013 at Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro, Massachusetts. She was the beloved wife of Edward A. Bechard to whom she was married on November 18, 1967. Born in Pawtucket, Rhode Island on July 4, 1948, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Edith G. (Hughes) Fuller. She resided in Rehoboth for most of her life and was a 1967 graduate of Dighton-Rehoboth High School. Mrs. Bechard was employed as a mold maker for the former L.G. Balfour Company in Attleboro for ten years and had also been employed for six years as a nurse's aide at the former Bristol County Nursing Home in Attleboro. She enjoyed making crafts particularly ceramics. Mrs. Bechard was an ardent gardener and member of the Red Hat Society. With her family, she bred Shelties, Afghans and more recently Persian cats. In addition to her beloved husband with whom she recently celebrated her 45th wedding anniversary, she leaves her devoted daughter: Carrie Lynn Bechard of Rehoboth; two sisters: Martha Cummins of Attleboro and Kathleen Greenberg of Rehoboth; a brother: Frank Fuller of Rehoboth and several nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends. Visitation has been respectfully omitted. Funeral services and burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Mrs. Bechard's name may be made to the Dyer-Lake Charitable Foundation, Inc., a registered 501 (c) 3 organization, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, North Attleboro, MA 02760 to benefit the Dana Farber Cancer Institute.
