Denise Marie Labonte, 57, of Providence, RI, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 17, 2018 at Rhode Island Hospital in Providence, RI.
Born on August 30, 1961 in Providence, RI, she was the daughter of the late Henry J. Labonte Jr., and the late Dolores (Rogers) Labonte.
She was raised and educated in Providence, where she was a lifelong resident.
Denise was a longtime member of Holy Cross Roman Catholic Church in Johnston, RI. She was a warm, caring, generous woman who held a special place in her heart for animals of every kind, and who truly loved to rescue all those she could.
She was the loving mother of Paul Labonte of Providence, and the dear sister of Henry J. Labonte III of Johnston, RI, and the late Frank Labonte. Denise was the grandmother of five grandchildren.
Friends and relatives are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, January 4, 2019 at 9:00 a.m. at Holy Cross Roman Catholic Church, 645 Hartford Avenue, Johnston, RI.
Burial services will be privately held in St. Ann's Cemetery, Cranston, RI.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Denise to an organization of one's choice for the benefit of animals.
