Debra Anne (Fitzsimmons) Trujillo, 56, of South Dartmouth, MA, passed away on Sunday, February 5, 2017 at Rhode Island Hospital in Providence, RI. She was the beloved fiancée of Steven C. Machado of South Dartmouth, MA.Born on June 13, 1960 in Salt Lake City, Utah, she was the daughter of Paul Brian Fitzsimmons and his wife, Claudia Fitzsimmons, of North Attleboro, MA, and the late Martha "Maggie" N. (Dean) Fitzsimmons. Debra was the wife of the late Reyes T. Franco.Debra was a graduate of Brockton High School, Class of 1978, and attended Massasoit Community College. She was employed as a Bookkeeper for S2G Support Services Group in New Bedford, MA. A resident of South Dartmouth, MA for the past two and one-half years, Debra previously lived in Norton, MA, and, for many years, in Phoenix, AZ.She deeply loved her family, her cherished children, and her treasured grandchildren. A bright, vibrant and engaging woman with a kind heart, she was an ardent fan of the New England Patriots and Boston Red Sox who enjoyed yard sales and listening to country music. She was always intrigued and fascinated by the Royal family, especially Princess Diana, as well as all things relating to the Kennedy family, particularly the late John F. Kennedy, Jr. She will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved her, and by her two feline companions: "Smudge" and "Jynx".In addition to her father and her fiancée, Debra is survived by her dear children: Michael Paul Trujillo and Andrea Lauren Trujillo, both of Phoenix, AZ. She was the adoring grandmother of Andrew Jacob Trujillo, Manuel Reyes Gamboa, Lupita Trujillo, Angelo Amador, and Salvador Amador, Jr. She was the sister of Mark Thomas Fitzsimmons of Dayton, NV; Patrick B. Fitzsimmons of Mansfield, MA; and Theresa Mary (Fitzsimmons) Osenkarski of Phoenix, AZ. She leaves her nieces and nephews: Stephen Travers, Jackson Fitzsimmons, Brian Fitzsimmons, Ryan Fitzsimmons, Trey Fitzsimmons, Anna Osenkarski, and Johnathon Osenkarski; her step-sisters: Catherine Brandley and Adrianne Bentz; her extended family in Mexico; and many friends.Friends and family are cordially invited to attend a Visitation on Thursday, February 9, 2017 from 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home - the national historic Colonel Obed Robinson Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro, MA.Family and friends are welcome to attend a Memorial Service immediately following visitation at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 9, 2017 in the Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro.Children's room is available during visitation and the memorial service.Burial services will be private.A Celebration of Debra's Life will be held in the Summer of 2017 at a date to be announced.Debra's family respectfully asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made in her memory to either the Humane Society & Shelter - South Coast, 31 Ventura Drive, South Dartmouth, MA, 02747; or to Mission 22 at www.mission22.com , for the prevention of Veterans' suicide.For additional information or to send the family a written expression of sympathy, please visit an online guest book at www.dyer-lakefuneralhome.com .
