Deborah M. (Keating) Murray, 57, of Hillside Avenue, Attleboro, died on Wednesday, July 30, 2014 at Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro, Massachusetts. She was the wife of Peter Francis Murray to whom she was married in Boston, Massachusetts on November 30, 1985. Born in Boston, Massachusetts on November 27, 1956, she was a daughter of the late William and Ann (Connolly) Keating. She was raised and educated in South Boston where she was a 1975 graduate of South Boston High School. Mrs. Murray resided in Attleboro for the past 25 years having moved to the community from Quincy. She was employed as a machine operator for Hilco Smart Optical Solutions in Plainville for six years. She was a former communicant of the former St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church in Attleboro. Mrs. Murray was devoted to her family and treasured the times creating lifelong memories to cherish. In addition to her husband, she leaves two sons: Peter F. Murray III of Brooklyn, New York and Kevin W. Murray of Attleboro; a sister: Lorraine Keating-Potter of Attleboro; her beloved two-year old white Labrador, "Duke" and several nieces, nephews and dear friends. She was the sister of the late Mary Ann Bain and William Keating. Private visitation was held on Monday, August 4, 2014 in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home - the national historic Colonel Obed Robinson Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro followed immediately by a funeral service officiated by the Rev. Riley J. Williams. Burial was private. Memorial donations in her name and honor may be made to the Sturdy Memorial Foundation, PO Box 2963, Attleboro, MA 02703 to benefit the respiratory unit.
