Deborah Anne (Rousseau) Liddell, 71, of Attleboro, MA, passed away on Saturday, June 5, 2021, at Tufts Medical Center in Boston, MA, following a period of declining health. She was the loving wife of James Reid Liddell Jr., whom she married on June 16, 1983.
Born in North Attleboro, MA on February 28, 1950, she was a daughter of the late Louis Rousseau and the late Margaret (Quinlan) Rousseau.
Raised and educated in North Attleboro, she was a graduate of North Attleboro High School, Class of 1967, and resided in North Attleboro prior to moving to Attleboro.
She was a dedicated and devoted homemaker to her family who will be remembered as a wonderful wife and mother, as well as a loving, doting, attentive grandmother and caregiver to her grandchildren, with whom she delighted in traveling and taking vacations. An ardent gardener and reader, Deborah was a lifelong animal lover with a special place in her heart for cats.
In addition to her husband, James, Deborah leaves her six loving children: Todd Roy in Florida; Jennifer Roy-Persad in Florida; James R. Liddell III in Connecticut; Carrie Lowe and her husband, Dennis Lowe, of Woonsocket, Rhode Island; Michael Liddell of Milford, MA; and Cristine Rheaume and her husband, Lewis Rheaume, of Seekonk, MA; and was the mother-in-law of the late Kelvin Steve Persad. She a proud and adoring grandmother and great-grandmother and leaves her extended family and many dear friends.
Family and friends are cordially invited to honor Deborah by attending Visitation in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro, MA, on Thursday, June 17, 2021, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.
Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend a Funeral Service and Celebration of Life on Friday, June 18, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro, MA.
Burial will be private.
Following services an invitation will be extended to join the family for a time of continued fellowship and refreshments.
