Debora Ann (Blais) Gaudreau, 51, of Finton Avenue, South Attleboro, died following a courageous battle with cancer for the past five years on Monday, November 19, 2012 at the Life Care Center of Attleboro where she had been a resident since October 27, 2012. Born in Attleboro, Massachusetts on October 16, 1961, she was a daughter of Raymond W. Blais, Sr. of South Attleboro and Ellen S. (St. George) Precourt of Seekonk. She was the stepdaughter of Jean (Delude) Blais of South Attleboro and the late Charles E. Precourt who died in June. She moved to South Attleboro in August after having resided in North Attleboro on Avery Street for several years and on Commonwealth Avenue in Attleboro Falls for 16 years. Ms. Gaudreau was a graduate of Fairfax High School in Fairfax, Virginia. She was employed for the past 12 years at Fisher College in Attleboro Falls in a variety of capacities including sub-registrar, administrative assistant and was actively involved in student services. Ms. Gaudreau was a communicant of St. Mark Roman Catholic Church in Attleboro Falls. She loved quilting, crafts and sewing. Her family will lovingly remember her special zest for the Christmas season, treasuring every other holiday season and being the "life of the party". In addition to her parents and stepmother, she leaves three daughters: Veronica E. Brizard and her husband, R. Daniel Brizard, of West Warwick; Danielle M. Gaudreau of North Attleboro and Rene G. Gaudreau of North Attleboro; two brothers: Raymond W. Blais, Jr. and his wife, Nadine Blais, of Attleboro and Allen Carley of Attleboro; several extended family members and countless colleagues and dear friends. She was the sister of the late Doreen (Blais) Charron who died on January 18, 2008.
